Starmer: Government pumping out nonsense on Labour plans

Sir Keir Starmer describes the government's response to his plans to seek closer co-operation with the EU over the small boats crisis as "nonsense".

It comes after Home Secretary Suella Braverman said the Labour leader would let the UK become a "dumping ground" for Europe's migrants.

Speaking during a visit to The Hague, Sir Keir tells broadcasters: "It's embarrassing that the government is pumping out this nonsense”.
