PM claims Labour’s plan to stop small boats is not credible
Rishi Sunak claims Sir Keir Starmer's plans to seek an EU-wide returns agreement as part of a deal to help stop people smuggling gangs, could result in the UK accepting 100,000 migrants from the bloc every year.
The Prime Minister tells reporters during a visit in Devon: "Keir Starmer spent all of this year voting against our stop the boats bill, the toughest legislation that any government has passed to tackle illegal migration”.
