Bottled water handed out to residents after parasite scare

The UK Health Security Agency said 22 cases of cryptosporidium, a waterborne disease caused by a microscopic parasite, had been confirmed in Brixham.

The disease causes sickness and diarrhoea.

South West Water had opened two bottled water collection points.
