Labour conference votes to reverse winter fuel cuts

Delegates at the Labour conference have voted for a motion to reverse the winter fuel payment cuts.

The vote is non-binding but showed an overwhelming majority voted in favour of reversing the decision to axe the benefit for millions of pensioners.

Sir Keir Starmer was not present at the final day of the conference as he is set to attend the UN Security Council and General Assembly in New York.
