Protest erupts at Labour conference against winter fuel cuts

A protest was staged at the final day of the Labour conference against the cuts to the winter fuel allowance.

Members of Unite chanted "save the winter fuel" at their stand in the conference hall.

It comes as the government refuses to U-turn on the cuts amid increasing backlash.
