Pat McFadden defends decision to cut winter fuel payment

Pat McFadden has defended the government's decision to cut the winter fuel payment.

"Line one of the manifesto was we are going to run a stable economy.

It's not just winter fuel - we had to cancel some transport projects as well because we found they had been announced with no money attached to them," he said.
