Banks bosses leave Number 10 amid hike in interest rates
Bank bosses have left Downing Street after a meeting with the Chancellor Jeremy Hunt to discuss the Bank of England’s decision to raise the interest rate to 5%.
Speaking to reporters, Lloyds Bank boss Charlie Nunn said he was “leaving it to the Chancellor” to make the necessary announcements.
