Warning for patients as junior doctors strike

NHS medical director Professor Sir Stephen Powis has warned that the NHS will be under extra pressure and face disruption as junior doctors walk out for further industrial action tomorrow from 9am.

Emergency and urgent care will be prioritised but many appointments and procedures may be postponed.
