Talks Continue to Extend , Gaza Ceasefire , Despite Alleged Violations.
'Newsweek' reports that both Israel and Hamas have
accused each other of violating a temporary ceasefire
to allow for the release of additional hostages.
The news comes one day after the
temporary truce, which was mediated by the
United States, Egypt and Qatar, was extended.
Hamas' military wing, the Al-Qassam Brigades, said that
the group would adhere to the ceasefire as long as
the Israeli Defenses Forces (IDF) respect it as well. .
We are committed to the truce
as long as the enemy has committed
to it, and we call on the mediators
to pressure the occupation to adhere
to all the terms of the truce on
the ground and in the air, Abu Obaida, Al-Qassam Brigades spokesperson, via 'Newsweek'.
The IDF claim that , "three explosive devices were detonated adjacent to IDF
troops in two different locations in the northern Gaza Strip,
violating the framework of the operational pause.".
In one of the locations, terrorists also
opened fire at the troops, who responded
with fire. A number of soldiers were

The news comes amid ongoing talks
to further extend the truce which
is set to expire on November 29. .
Since the original ceasefire agreement was reached
last week, 69 hostages have been released by Hamas,
while Israel has released 150 Palestinian prisoners. .
The vast majority of hostages released by both
sides have been women, children and teens.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said his administration supports the ceasefire but will continue
its offensive until Hamas is defeated or surrenders. .
