The ongoing Manipur violence and the viral video of two women being paraded naked rocked both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha again on the second day of the monsoon session with the principal opposition Congress and the ruling BJP leaders slogging it out inside and outside Parliament.

A massive protest rally surged through the streets of Manipur's Churachandpur. The fresh protests come a day after a two-month-old distressing video showing the public humiliation and abuse of two tribal women went viral. The 26-second video which went viral on Wednesday revealed the two women being paraded Naked and sexually assaulted by a mob. The video triggered widespread outrage and demands for justice. Manipur Police announced on Thursday that they have detained one of the primary suspects visible in the video. The accused identified as 32-year-old Huirem Heradas was arrested in Thoubal district. The police said that the accused is believed to be the mastermind behind the horrific incident.
