'Marine Le Pen Witch Hunt': Furious Trump Warns Emmanuel Macron Over Far-Right Leader's Arrest

Trump has come out strongly in defense of French far-right leader Marine Le Pen after a Paris court barred her from holding political office for five years.

Trump accused European leftists of using “lawfare” to silence opposition, calling the conviction a “witch hunt.” The court found Le Pen guilty of misusing EU funds, a charge she denies as politically motivated.

Trump warned the move was “bad for France” and an attack on free speech.

Le Pen can no longer challenge Macron in the 2027 French presidential elections.
