Three months into his second term, former U.S. President Donald Trump has reached his highest approval rating at 47%, according to an NBC News poll.

Despite ongoing criticism of his economic policies, Trump enjoys massive support for his border security measures (56%) and trade policies (41%).

The poll also reveals that 44% of voters believe the country is on the right track—the highest since 2004.

However, 54% disapprove of Trump’s economic handling, and his controversial Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) initiative remains divisive.

With Democrats facing historically low favorability, Trump continues to dominate GOP support at 90%.
