South Korean Fighter Jet Accidentally Drops Bombs, Injuring Civilians During Military Training Drill

A South Korean KF-16 fighter jet accidentally dropped eight MK-82 bombs outside a firing range during a joint live-firing drill, injuring at least seven people.

The incident, which occurred in Pocheon near the North Korean border, caused damage to civilian buildings.

The air force apologized and promised compensation.

A committee will investigate the cause of the mishap and assess the full extent of the damages.
