India has successfully completed its first unmanned space docking, becoming the fourth nation in the world to achieve this feat.
The Space Docking Experiment (SpaDex) demonstrated the docking of two small spacecraft, called Target and Chaser, launched on December 30.
This achievement strengthens Indiaโs position as a global space power, crucial for future space missions like lunar exploration, crewed space travel, and building a space station.
Prime Minister Modi praised the achievement, highlighting its importance for Indiaโs ambitious space goals, including landing an astronaut on the moon by 2040.
