Rachel Reeves to decide stance on assisted dying bill

Rachel Reeves said she would study proposals for assisted dying in the coming days, and believed there was enough time for scrutiny of the legislation.

She said: “Like all MPs, I need to study the Bill ahead of Friday.

It is a big decision, with wide-ranging consequences and so I will be doing that in the next couple of days.
