Keir Starmer pledges investment in end-of-life care

Sir Keir Starmer has pledged Government investment in end-of-life care, regardless of the outcome of the vote on the Assisted Dying Bill.

The prime minister described the importance of the vote, adding that investment in care must continue.

He highlighted the Government's 10-year plan to strengthen the NHS, ensuring it provides the care people expect, including in end-of-life services.
