Nainital Forest Fire: Bambi Bucket being used by an IAF helicopter to fight forest fires | Oneindia

The Indian Air Force deployed its MI 17 V5 helicopter on Saturday (April 27) to combat the forest fires ravaging the Nainital district in Uttarakhand, as confirmed by the state’s Chief Minister, Pushkar Singh Dhami.

Utilising a "Bambi Bucket," the helicopter retrieved water from Bhimtal Lake, situated near Nainital, and discharged it onto the flames engulfing the forests.
