Iran's Khamenei says Israel 'must be punished' for Syria embassy attack | Oneindia

Iran's Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, declared on Wednesday that Israel "will face punishment and it will happen" for its assault on the Iranian embassy compound in Syria, which resulted in the deaths of senior IRGC generals.

In a significant escalation of Israel's conflicts with regional foes, suspected Israeli warplanes conducted a precise strike on Iran's consulate in the Syrian capital on April 1, resulting in the deaths of seven IRGC Quds Force officers responsible for overseeing Iran's armed proxies.
