Iran Embassy Attack: Hezbollah warns Israel will pay for attack on Damascus consulate | Oneindia

Lebanon's Iran-backed Hezbollah issued a stern warning on April 1st, vowing retaliation against Israel for its strike on the country's consulate in Damascus, which resulted in the deaths of high-ranking Iran Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) members.

Hezbollah, known for its ongoing clashes with Israel, particularly in support of its ally Hamas during the Gaza war since October, emphasised that Israel would not escape consequences for its actions.

"Certainly, this crime will not pass without the enemy receiving punishment and revenge" (DISPLAY ON SCREEN) said Hezbollah, in a statement.
