US President Joe Biden faced an unexpected setback in American Samoa.
President Biden, who had been sweeping every Democratic contest on Super Tuesday, surprisingly fell short in American Samoa to a previously unknown candidate named Jason Palmer.
Out of the 91 ballots cast in the territory's caucus, Palmer secured 51 votes, while Biden garnered 40, according to the local party.
