Police Release CCTV of Plain Clothes Officers Arresting Watch Thieves in London

The Metropolitan Police released this CCTV footage of plain clothes officers arresting watch thieves across London.

Hundreds of luxury watches, worth millions of pounds in total, are stolen each year in the capital.

The Met said its data-driven operation targeted watch theft hotspots, such as the West End.

The latest police operation resulted in 21 convictions.
