Sunak says support for Ukraine remains as Hungary blocks aid

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has insisted support for Ukraine has not faltered, as Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban today blocked the European Union from approving a financial aid package worth about ÂŁ43bn for Ukraine.

Sunak said the United Kingdom has "consistently been the country that has provided them with the equipment and capabilities that they need ahead of people and we will continue to do that." Sunak said he spoke to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine in recent days and assured him of the UK's continued support.
