Israel-Gaza Truce: Hamas and Israel exchange hostages and prisoners on 5th day | Oneindia News

In a significant move towards easing tensions, Hamas has released 12 more hostages, while Israel reciprocated by releasing 30 Palestinian prisoners on the fifth day of the extended six-day truce.

The International Committee of the Red Cross confirmed the transfer of the 12 hostages from Gaza to Israeli territory, where they are now under the care of Israel's special forces.

These hostages were among the 240 individuals seized by Hamas gunmen during an incursion into southern Israel on October 7.
