Keegan: Operational pause will help get Brits out of Gaza

The education secretary says an "operational pause" will allow humanitarian aid to enter Gaza and get British nationals out of the enclave, but that the UK government is not calling for a ceasefire, given that "Israel has the right to defend itself".

Gillian Keegan adds the prime minister and the foreign secretary are making "intense diplomatic efforts" with more than six leaders across the Middle East region.
