ENERGY MINISTER: Govt ensuring North Sea jobs remain here

Energy minister Andrew Bowie defends Rishi Sunak’s plan to issue oil and gas licenses in the North Sea, saying the industry has been “very welcoming of the announcement.” Mr Bowie stresses the importance of “being less reliant on imports and hostile foreign actors” when it comes to energy supply, looking ahead to the future.
