Manipur incident: One of the women’s husband, a Kargil war veteran, narrates ordeal | Oneindia News
The video of two women being assaulted by a mob in Manipur has shaken the country.
The husband of one of the women in the video is a retired Army subedar and Kargil War veteran.
He said his native place is horrifying and dangerous.
According to a report by the Times of India, the couple is now living in a relief camp in Churachandpur after their home was turned to ashes by attackers.
The report revealed that the couple said they have lost everything in their lives, from materials to dignity.
The 42-year-old woman was one of the survivors of the attack.
