Labour brands NHS ‘sick man of Europe’ after King’s Fund report
Labour’s Wes Streeting claims “13 years of Conservative Government” has taken the National Health Service from its “shortest waiting times” to becoming the “sick man of Europe”.
The shadow health secretary speaks in response to a report published by The King’s Fund which found the UK performs poorly on healthcare outcomes across several different major disease groups.
