Home secretary: Nottingham at the forefront of our minds
The home secretary has expressed her “sorrow” and extended a “hand of friendship” to the people of Nottingham, after three people were attacked and killed in the city on Tuesday morning.
Suella Braverman told MPs Nottinghamshire Police were being assisted by counter-terrorism officers, but added this does not mean the incident is currently being treated as a terrorist attack.
She concluded: “The city of Nottingham and all its people are at the forefront of all our minds and every resource of the state is at their disposal.” Report by Buseld.
