CNN reports that as Title 42 expires on May 11, an influx of migrants are expected to reach the U.S.-Mexico border.

The Biden administration will send 1,500 troops to the area to provide support in controlling the situation.

At the request of DHS, DOD will provide a temporary increase of an additional 1,500 military personnel, for 90 days, to supplement CBP efforts at the border.
