Badenoch calls ‘feverish’ press speculation distracting
On a visit to a whisky distillery to announce the reduction of alcohol tariffs, International Trade Secretary Kemi Badenoch says “there is often feverish speculation in the press” about the changing of prime minister which the Tories "cannot allow" to distract them.
She warns “we should not be talking about that at all”, adding that it would be “disastrous”.
