India's first underwater metro tunnel, being built in Kolkata, will become operational by 2023.
The transport tunnel is being by constructed inside the Hooghly river and reports suggest that 80% of the construction has been completed.
The tunnel corridor is built 33 meters below the riverbed and will connect Kolkata to Howrah.
