Starmer: We must 'clean out the cesspit' of online platforms
Labour Leader Sir Keir Starmer has called on the prime minister to engage in cross-party work to stop online platforms becoming breeding grounds for extremism.
He told MPs at PMQs: "We need to stop online spaces being safe spaces for terrorists; we need to ensure that unaccountable, arrogant social media companies take responsibility for their platforms. We need to end the delays, get on with the legislation and clean out the cesspit once and for all." Report by Buseld.
