Footage shows the brown water submerging homes as torrential rain continued to pour in Bohol province on June 2 morning.

Resident Noel Paigan said: 'We all stayed on the second floor of our homes while some of our neighbours in the lower part of the village have evacuated.

It was so scary.'

Storm Choi-wan, locally called Dante, made is set to make its ninth landfall tonight (June 3) in the northern Luzon region after trailing across southern Tagalog provinces and leaving three people dead as well as 15 million worth of damage in agriculture.
