Congress delegation visits Chamarajanagar District Hospital where 24 patients die allegedly due to oxygen shortage

Leader of Opposition Siddaramaiah and state Congress chief DK Shivakumar visited Chamarajanagar District Hospital on May 04.

Over 24 patients, including several COVID-19 patients, died at a government hospital in allegedly due to the shortage of oxygen.

Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar met with the kin of deceased patients.

An inquiry has been ordered into the matter by the district incharge.

Several hospitals across the country have been reporting a shortage of oxygen and due to that many people admitted there have lost their lives.
