Approved Rs 400 crore for free vaccination in Uttarakhand: CM Rawat

Central government had announced vaccination drive, starting from May 01, for people falling in the 18-44 years age bracket.

Announcing free vaccination for all above 18-years, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat informed that the state government has approved Rs 400 crores for it.

CM Tirath Singh Rawat said, "We had ordered 7500 Remdesivir injections and had sent our aircraft to Hyderabad, it returned last evening.

2500 more injections will come.

Regarding vaccination of everyone above 18 yrs of age, we have announced free vaccines for all and approved Rs 400 crores for it."
