WB polls: TMC's office camp allegedly vandalised by central forces in North 24 Parganas

With fifth phase of polling is underway in West Bengal, a report of TMC camp office vandalism has surfaced from Deganga Assembly constituency.

TMC's camp office was vandalised at booth number 81 in Kumarpur on April 17.

The party workers alleged that central forces are behind the vandalism.

West Bengal recorded a voter turnout of 69.40 per cent till 3.30 pm across 45 constituencies in six districts during the fifth phase of the state Assembly polls, according to the Election Commission (EC).

Voting for the fifth phase of West Bengal Assembly polls began at 7 am on Saturday amid tight security.
