Amit Shah promises Rs 20,000 crore fund to build new colleges in West Bengal

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on March 25 said that if BJP comes into power in West Bengal, it will build more colleges in the state.

Rs 20,000 crore Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar Fund to build more colleges in the state.

"Once considered as knowledge capital, what is the situation of Bengal today?

There are only 13 colleges for 1 lakh students.

Can 1 lakh students study in just 13 colleges?

We have promised Rs 20,000 crores Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar Fund to build more colleges," he said.
