WB polls: With a Lord Ram story, PM Modi highlights Purulia's water crisis

Ahead of West Bengal Assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Mod visited Purulia on March 18.

Referring to water scarcity in Purulia, PM Modi said that it is an irony that Purulia faces water crisis in today's time where once Lord Ram got water from the ground by hitting it with an arrow.

WB will go to polls in 8 phases starting from March 27.

Where on one hand BJP wants to end the 10-year rule of TMC government, TMC on other hand is campaigning hard to get another five years in the state.
