Nepal assures to remove encroachment from 'no man's land': Tanakpur SDM

India has asked Nepal to remove encroachment from the 'no man's land' on the border between two countries in Tanakpur, Uttarakhand.

On receiving the information about a construction work there, officials from Tanakpur visited the area of the district and spotted the encroachment.

Himanshu Kafaltia, SDM, Tanakpur said, "The Nepal authorities have been asked to remove the encroachment soon.

SSB observed that Nepal's incursion has increased at No Man's Land (on India-Nepal border) adjoining Brahmadev Mandi.

We've strictly told the Nepal administration to remove encroachments.

They've assured of action within 1-2 days."
