Ahead of the West Bengal Assembly elections, the national general secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Kailash Vijayvargiya conducted poll campaigning in Kolkata on March 06.
He did the election campaigning in Kalighat Hawkers Market of Kolkata along with party workers to invite people for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's rally at Brigade Parade Ground which will be held on March 07.
The central observer for West Bengal, Vijayvargiya also enjoyed tea in 'kulhad' at a tea stall in the market.
West Bengal Assembly polls will be held in eight phases starting from March 27 with the final round of voting will taking place on April 29.
The counting of votes will take place on May 02.
West Bengal is likely to witness a triangular contest this time with TMC, Congress-Left alliance and the BJP in the fray.
