J and K locals, affected with cross-border firing, welcome new ceasefire

People living at international border in Jammu and Kashmir's Akhnoor took a sigh of relief after agreement between India and Pakistan to stop cross-border firing.

They thanked both the countries but also cleared the air that the neighbouring country cannot be trusted.

India and Pakistan's militaries on February 25 announced that they have agreed to stop firing along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir and other areas with effect from the midnight of February 24-25.
