J&K ceasefire: Watch local residents' reaction to India-Pakistan agreement

Days after armies of India and Pakistan announced a strict adherence to a ceasefire at the contested border, residents of villages in the area heaved a sigh of relief.

People welcomed the lull in violence, recounting how the indiscriminate firing from the Pakistani side had led to loss of life and limb.

People are finally able to go about their business with full freedom, locals said.
