Manipur: Terrorists allegedly kidnap man, locals block highway as protest

Protests seen in Manipur's Kangpokpi over the kidnapping of a man named Tikaram Rizal.

Protestors blocked the Imphal-Dimapur national highway after armed men claiming to be affiliated to the Kuki National Front allegedly kidnapped Rizal.

While locals said they can't ascribe any cause, police said ransom seemed to be the main motive.
