Yoga Guru Ramdev launched Patanjali's ‘Coronil’ to cure Covid-19 on Friday.
Patanjali Ayurved said Coronil has got Ayush Ministry’s certification as per WHO scheme.
The company claimed that it is the first evidence-based medicine to fight Covid-19.
Ramdev also released research paper to back Patanjali's solutions to Covid-19.
The ayurvedic medicine against coronavirus was launched at an event in New Delhi.
The event was presided by Union Ministers Harsh Vardhan and Nitin Gadkari.
Patanjali had earlier introduced Ayurveda-based Coronil on June 23 last year.
The Haridwar-based firm, however, had to face criticism as it lacked scientific evidence.
The Ayush Ministry, back then, had indicated it as 'Immuno-booster' only.
Coronil is developed by Baba Ramdev's Patanjali Research Institute.
It had started work for an Ayurvedic remedy for Covid-19 in January, 2020.
