Farmers' protest: 'Canadian PM commends GOI's efforts to choose path of dialogue', says MEA
While addressing a press conference in the national capital on February 12, the official spokesperson of Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Anurag Srivastava spoke on farmers' protest.
Srivastava said, "On the farmers' protest, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau commended efforts of the Government of India to choose the path of dialogue as befitting a democracy." "He also acknowledged the responsibility of his government in providing protection to Indian diplomatic personnel and premises in Canada," he added.
