Chamoli disaster: Difficult situation, but ITBP successfully rescued people from 1st tunnel, says Pokhriyal
Union Minister for Education, and former chief minister of Uttarakhand, Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank visited Joshimath in Uttarakhand's Chamoli where a flash flood triggered due to glacier burst on February 07.
While speaking to ANI, Nishank said, "It's a very difficult situation, but ITBP successfully rescued people from 1st tunnel and now they're working on 2nd tunnel, which is approx 3 km long.
NDRF and military are also on it.
By afternoon, we can expect some positive result."
