Police Commissioner meets injured police personnel, praises their bravery

In a programme organized at Pitampura in outer district of Delhi, Police Commissioner SN Shrivastava met policemen who sustained injuries during the tractor rally violence on Republic Day.

Special commissioner of Police, Law and Order, Sanjay Singh and other senior officials were also present at the programme.

More than 140 police personnel from the outer district got injured during the clash.

Police Commissioner hailed the bravery and restraint displayed by them to control the mob.

He said that, "special medical attention is being provided to all the Delhi police personnel who sustained injuries on 26th January, so that they can recover speedily.

They will also be given a monetary assistance."
