European Medicines Agency approves AstraZeneca jab amid row over supplies

The vice chair of EMA’s human medicines committee, Bruno Sepodes, says theOxford/AstraZeneca has been authorised for use across the EU.

It came amid adeepening row between the EU and AstraZeneca over vaccine supply shortages inthe bloc – with Brussels announcing an export ban on some jabs.
