Michael Gove has insisted that Boris Johnson’s trip to Scotland is “absolutelyessential” despite criticism of the visit from First Minister Nicola Sturgeon.He said there is “no substitute for a leader better than being there” whenasked why the Prime Minister did not speak to people remotely.
