PM Modi salutes specially-abled boatman's commitment to cleanliness

Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed N S Rajappan's commitment towards cleanliness.

N S Rajappan is paralysis-hit and despite that he collects waste from Kerala's scenic Vembanad Lake.

Rajappan rows his small country boat on Vembanad Lake and collects plastic bottles and other litter in order to make the beautiful lake waste free.

Rajappan was praised by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his radio show "Mann Ki Baat" where he urged that people should also emulate Rajappan and make whatever contribution possible.
